Well, I'm just fool enough to try this again. I have no idea what I'm going to write this year, but I can tell you right now it will not be a sequel to Secrets of the Chelsea River. Last year's novel is near and dear to my heart, but alas, it must age for a while before I'll be ready for a serious first edit. It was a blast writing it and having all those readers was amazing for me. That support and encouragement really got me through the toughest and most challenging month last year.
I want to thank Redeagle for preparing this blog for the November, 2003 National Novel Writing Month contest. We won it last year (remember?), finishing a little over a week early and ending up with over 80,000 words when it was all said and done.
I made a lot of friends through this project (not to mention a few enemies regarding Abby's untimely death), and I hope to make more this year. If I could just come up with an idea! Suggestions are welcome.
Thank you once again for your support. I'll be back here November 1st.

I am so glad you are doing this again! I will be here supporting you one hundred percent of the way! You know you can do this! It will be a wild ride, but well worth the trip! I can't wait for the beginning!

I can't wait for the novel to begin! Last year's was fantastic (and I hear some silly theory about getting better with practice).

I'm new to the blogosphere and missed last year's attempt, sorry. As far as ideas go, what genre do you prefer to base in? After that, look at what you know and what you are willing to learn. I have written before and if you would like to give me some thoughts on where your head is, I might be able to help.
